Coming off of its fourth national championship since 2009, the owner of six straight No. 1 recruiting classes, Alabama is poised to continue its success on the trail in the 2017 cycle.

The Crimson Tide will continue to recruit the entire country and barring something completely unforeseen, fans can expect to see another ultra-talented, geographically-balanced class heading to Tuscaloosa on the first Wednesday of the second month of 2017.

1. Dylan Moses, OLB/RB, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Moses is a Baton Rouge, La., native, who was committed to LSU for some time before backing out of it. Alabama is thought to be the team that has the best chance of keeping him from re-committing and ultimately signing with the Tigers. If it seems like we’ve been talking about Moses for forever, it’s because we have. He was offered scholarships by multiple programs, including the Tide and LSU, as an eighth grader.

2. Isaiah Wilson, OT, Brooklyn (N.Y.) Poly Prep

Alabama will have to win a recruiting battle with Ohio State, Michigan and a host of others here, but it will be worth it. Wilson is grossly under-ranked collectively by the recruiting industry (ESPN has him ranked correctly) and could be the best prospect in the country. He is the best offensive tackle in my opinion (though Ohio’s Josh Myers is up there too) and has future first rounder (with development) written all over him. Wilson is 6-foot-7, 322 pounds, can run, can bend, has great feat and superior athleticism. He’s on the level of a Cam Robinson or Laremy Tunsil as a prospect. The Tide is in the hunt early for Wilson and Mario Cristobal already has a good relationship here.

3. Wyatt Davis, OT, Belflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco

After heading into northern California and plucking five-star offensive tackle Jonah Williams last cycle, Cristobal and Alabama will look to land a five-star offensive tackle out of southern California. Davis is a 6-foot-5, 290-pounder who plays for an outstanding high school program in the Los Angeles area. As is the case with any West Coast prospect that an SEC team wants to lure south, he has to want to leave home and go that far. Right now, it appears Davis, the No. 20 overall prospect in the 2017 cycle per 247Sports Composite rankings, is very, very open to doing just that.

4. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Pompano Beach (Fla.) Deerfield Beach

The 6-foot-1, 174-pound Jeudy is an electric wide receiver in the mold of Calvin Ridley, who he just happens to look up to a great deal. Most believe that this will be the next speedy playmaker that the Tide and (here’s that name again) Cristobal land out of south Florida. Jeudy is the No. 8 receiver prospect in the 2017 recruiting class per 247Sports Composite rankings.

5. Nico Collins, WR, Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Collins is without a doubt one of the best receivers in the country. He displays excellent speed and solid hands on film and is a big-time football player as well as athlete. Collins is similar to Tee Higgins, the five-star out of the state of Tennessee, skill-set wise and plays against better competition at the high school level. Most believe he ends up at Alabama when all is said and done. Currently, Collins is ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in the Yellowhammer State by 247Sports Composite rankings for 2017.
