Update: Alabama DL A’Shawn Robinson carted off the field with ankle injury

Update: According to a report from AL.com, Robinson injured his ankle during practice. The injury is not believed to be serious.
The hits unfortunately keep on coming for Alabama during spring practice.
The newest casualty could be defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson, who was carted off the field on Monday.

The extent of the injury isn’t known at this time, and we’ll keep you updated.
Robinson was an All-SEC honorable mention in 2014, recording 49 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss in 2014. He started 13 of Alabama’s 14 games last fall.
Wide receiver Cam Sims and running back Bo Scarbrough tore their ACLs this spring, and losing Robinson would be devastating. Sims and Scarbrough will be out for several months.
