By Nick Cole
Published:
Nick Saban won the national title in January, and it appears as though he’ll be able to declare another victory with his 2016 signing class.
The Crimson Tide again led the way in recruiting with a strong finish to this year’s class.
Here’s what Saban had to say about the group on Wednesday:
Nick Saban at the podium and in a good mood. A No. 1 class will do that for a fella.

Saban: "This class reflects some of the needs we had. I was pleased to get 5 quality offensive linemen. Would have like another receiver."

— Charlie Potter (@Charlie_Potter) February 3, 2016
Nick Saban: You don't know what kind of class you have until these guys develop. It's everybody's "guesstimate" right now.

Nick Saban on recruiting Mississippi: "We try to do a great job in a 5-hour radius." Said it's been difficult because of the programs there

Saban on LBs Ben Davis/Mack Wilson: Goal is to teach those guys as much as we can because freshmen have contributed at LB in the past
— Marq Burnett (@Marq_Burnett) February 3, 2016
Saban: We'll be on the lookout for a graduate transfer running back or any place we can find them.
— Aaron Suttles (@AaronSuttles) February 3, 2016
Saban said four-star signee OT Jonah Willliams was one of the most athletic o-linemen they saw and could play center, guard or tackle.
— Alex Scarborough (@ByScarborough) February 3, 2016
Saban: Nigel Knott is a guy who could player corner or receiver. (He) wants to play corner.
— Aaron Suttles (@AaronSuttles) February 3, 2016
