Former Alabama running back Trent Richardson was cut by the Oakland Raiders Monday.

Richardson, the former No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, may have reached the end of his career. He had a disappointing rookie season with the Cleveland Browns, and he was later traded to the Indianapolis Colts for a first-round pick. Richardson was later cut by the Colts, and the Raiders gave him a shot. However, Richardson failed to impress this preseason.

At this point, it’s tough to see any other NFL team taking a chance on Richardson, although he’s just 25 years old.

Richardson has 614 career NFL carries for 2,032 yards and 17 touchdowns.
