Arkansas coach Bret Bielema isn’t getting too worked up over the controversy that’s come up over his flop along the sidelines last Saturday against Alabama. Critics are taking their shots, and even SEC commissioner Greg Sankey has had a conversation with him.
No worries, Bielema says.
Bielema on the criticism: "Bring it on, baby. It just is what it is when you’re 2-4. It’s a world full of hate."

After a play drifted toward the Arkansas sideline, Bielema separated two players but then flopped backward to make it look like Alabama’s Cam Robinson had pushed him. A penalty flag was thrown and then Bielema did a little celebration dance after getting the call. Video showed Robinson never touched him.
Sankey talked by phone with Bielema about the play and its aftermath.
“I reminded him of the need for head coaches to resolve with their own players issues that may arise, which was his intent,” Sankey said.
