Arkansas coach Bret Bielema during Wednesday’s SEC teleconference reiterated his belief that his league is the nation’s strongest this season.
He threw a jab in Ohio State’s direction during his explanation.
Referencing a competitive advantage to the College Football Playoff based on the Buckeyes’ light schedule, Bielema used Tuesday’s AP Top 25 to express his opinion, indicating all eight of the Razorbacks’ SEC opponents this season are ranked:
Bielema: “Ohio State has one game remaining with a ranked opponent. We have eight remaining against teams that are ranked.”

Bielema said if “If anyone tries to argue that, it’s nonsense.” Hinted that SEC teams would blow Ohio State’s SOS out of the water — Edward Aschoff (@AschoffESPN) September 9, 2015
Michigan State is Ohio State’s only nationally-ranked opponent the rest of the way and the Buckeyes don’t host the Spartans for another two months.
Over that same stretch, Arkansas will play seven teams currently ranked inside the Top 25, before ending the regular-season against No. 22 Mizzou.
