Report: Arkansas defensive coordinator Robb Smith refutes ACC job rumors
By Adam Spencer
Published:
On Friday, rumors surfaced that Arkansas defensive coordinator Robb Smith was expected to take on the same position at Wake Forest.
But wait, Arkansas radio host Bo Mattingly says. Mattingly tweeted that he talked to Smith and the Arkansas defensive coordinator refuted the earlier report:
Talked to Arkansas DC Robb Smith and reports he has been offered a job at Wake Forrest are not true.

Whether Smith survives the offseason at Arkansas remains to be seen, but for now, at least, it appears Wake Forest is not an option.
Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema has shown an interest in switching from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 scheme, though, so it’s possible that Smith may be on his way out of Fayetteville even if he doesn’t get the Demon Deacons’ job.
