While former Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison did participate at the Gators’ Pro Day on March 22, many wondered why he was nowhere to be found at the NFL Combine back in February.

According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Morrison had an infection that requred quite a bit of treatment, but he’s healthy now.

That was nothing for Morrison, who’s battled back from a much worse after having multiple surgeries to repair his left knee that he injured in the Birmingham Bowl against East Carolina to close the 2014 season.

He only needed six months to recover from that injury, and he was back on the field for Florida to lead the team with 103 tackles while also posting 12 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks last season.

Morrison is currently projected as a seventh-round pick or undrafted free agent, rating him as the No. 11 inside linebacker in the upcoming NFL Draft.
