The Georgia Bulldogs host Notre Dame on Saturday night in the marquee game of the week.

Last time these two teams played, it was a 20-19 road win for the Dawgs in South Bend. It was also QB Jake Fromm’s first start.

On Saturday morning’s edition of College GameDay, coach Kirby Smart discussed the biggest factor in Saturday’s game. He said it’ll come down to controlling emotions and protecting the ball:

“It really boils down to controlling your emotions,” he said. “Which team cannot play out of their element. Which team cannot go outside itself and do things they don’t normally do. These guys lead the country in turnover margin. So, we’ve got to protect the ball, and we’ve got to attack the ball. You’ve got to block and tackle. At the end of the day, the players are going to make the plays or not on the field, and we want our guys to execute at a high level.”
