Just when you thought things couldn’t get much worse for the 0-2 Kentucky Wildcats, they received even more bad news.
QB Drew Barker had to be carted off with an apparent leg injury:

After he was treated on the sidelines for a while, trainers decided they wanted to get a better look and carted him off to the locker room:

Even though the offense will certainly miss Barker, the defense is going to need to step up for the Wildcats if they want to avoid a massive upset at the hands of New Mexico State.
The Aggies lead the Wildcats 14-7 midway through the first quarter.
