The TaxSlayer Bowl hasn’t gotten off to a good start for coach Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats.

In the first half, Stoops yelled at Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson for the Yellow Jackets’ offensive linemen using chop blocks on Kentucky’s defensive linemen.

Also, Stoops was upset with a play at the end of the half, in which a Georgia Tech receiver who was tackled in bounds with one second left was ruled out of bounds, stopping the clock and allowing the Yellow Jackets to end the half with a field goal.

All of that led to the Kentucky coach going on an epic halftime tirade, which included hitting a Gatorade cooler and kicking the ref’s locker-room door:

Needless to say, the Wildcats’ first bowl game since 2010 isn’t exactly going well. It’s too early to tell if Stoops’s halftime rant inspired Kentucky to play better in the second half.
