Does this week’s slate of SEC exhibitions games have you down?
Les Miles is always here to cheer us up when we need him. And he should be in a good mood after beating a Top 15 team at a neutral site after trailing by 17 in the second half.
The LSU head coach narrowly missed providing every sports highlight show in the country with the perfect material for a “look how much Les Miles loves to eat grass” joke on Saturday.
According to a Pulitzer Prize-winning author writing a book about the team, Miles nearly face-planted running out of the Reliant Stadium tunnel Saturday to face Wisconsin, then laughed about it with his players.

After almost falling pregame Houston, Les Miles just told players he needs help running out tunnel: "Hey, give the OLD man some room!" #LSU

Also, did anyone else catch the irony here? LSU also nearly face-planted against Wisconsin before making a stunning recovery and drubbing the Badgers in the fourth quarter.
The Mad Hatter recovered from his near-fall in time to call for a fake punt on fourth-and-4, even though Wisconsin’s special teams didn’t have the personnel on the field that would’ve keyed the fake call. Linebacker Kendall Beckwith converted, the Tigers drilled a field goal to get within 24-10 and then roared to a 28-24 win.
Again, Les Miles. The legend grows.
