LSU scored its first surprise of National Signing Day when three-star wide receiver Brandon Martin announced he was signing with the Tigers.
I’m sorry Mizzou #Decommit… LSU I’m going to go with ???? pic.twitter.com/QTQ8z61l1b

Martin had previously committed to the Missouri Tigers. The Texas native visited LSU on the final weekend before National Signing Day, less than a week after committing to Mizzou.
The 6-foot-4.5, 200-pound receiver from Dallas is LSU’s third receiver in this class, joining five-star Tyron Johnson and four-star Jazz Ferguson. He pushes LSU to 23 total commits, signees and enrollees in the early hours of NSD.
Martin had been the fifth-highest rated player in Missouri’s signing class, per 247sports’ industry composite. The Tigers still have three three-star receiver commits.
