According to his Twitter account, LSU freshman Trey Lealaimatafao is back on the practice field after suffering a scary weight room injury over the summer. It’s still likely that Lealaimatafao will redshirt the season, according to several reports on the subject.
Lealaimatafao suffered a torn biceps muscle when he punched through a window in the team’s weight room in July. The U.S. Army high school All-America defensive tackle was rushed to an area hospital after the injury. In the photo he posted, Lealaimatafao was not wearing any sort of protective equipment on his arm, a good sign for his recovery.
