Report: Les Miles knows of his demise, doesn’t even expect to coach bowl game
NOTE: Updated with new information from Ross Dellenger of The Advocate.
Les Miles is fully aware that his 11th season with LSU will be his last, and he may not even get a chance to finish out the season, according to a report by TigerRag.com.
Reports from the website say that the Tigers coach indicated to members of the Gridiron Club, a booster organization for LSU, that today would be his last meeting with the group. Moreover, he does not expect to coach the team in its upcoming bowl game.
Many other sources have reported that Miles will not be retained by the school following this season.
LSU (7-3, 4-3 SEC) is on a three-game losing streak, the longest in Miles’ tenure in Baton Rouge, which began in 2005. LSU hosts Texas A&M on Saturday.
Les Miles told the LSU Gridiron Club booster group on Friday that Saturday will be his last game, according to someone at the meeting.

However, reports from The Advocate seem to suggest Miles’ days aren’t completely numbered. In the wake of these reports, Ross Dellenger had this to say via Twitter:
A gridiron club member to me just now said #LSU coach Les Miles told them today, "I hope to meet with you guys again before the bowl game."

Two sources who spoke directly to Les Miles say he in no way indicated today that this would be his last game.
"Heck no," Miles said#LSU

Les Miles, unsure of his future, expressed that to Gridiron members, telling them thanks for everything if #LSU decides to part ways.

As we've reported, #LSU AD Joe Alleva has still told Miles nothing about his job status.
