Star Mizzou DL Terry Beckner Jr. makes Liberty Bowl decision
The Missouri Tigers finished the 2018 regular season with an impressive 8-4 record, highlighted by four-straight wins to close out the year.
Now, they’ll head off to Memphis, where the Liberty Bowl showdown against Oklahoma State awaits the Tigers.
Senior DL Terry Beckner Jr., a former 5-star recruit from St. Louis, will likely be an early round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, so he had a big decision to make — play in the bowl game or sit out? According to Beckner, there was never a decision to be made:
To the surprise of no one, Terry Beckner Jr. said he will play in the Liberty Bowl. The thought of skipping it never entered his mind. "Not at all."

Beckner bleeds Missouri black and gold, so it’s no surprise that he’ll be on the field with his teammates this bowl season.
This year, Beckner has 31 tackles (9.5 for a loss) and two sacks for a Tiger defense that greatly improved over the course of the season.
