Missouri coach Gary Pinkel may not be in Columbia at season’s end, but he’s still there now, and fans showed their support for the man that’s finishing up his 15th season on the sidelines for the school.
Tigers fans at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City chanted in unison to show their appreciation for Pinkel towards the end of Mizzou’s 20-16 win over BYU.
Pinkel announced his resignation yesterday, effective at the end of the season, due to health issues. It was revealed that he was diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer, back in May.
