The NCAA levied 28 violations against Ole Miss in January, including 16 Level I violations. This included ACT fraud and a series of incidents in which players received improper benefits including cash and hotel rooms from boosters.
Nine of the 13 allegations against the football program took place after head coach Hugh Freeze was hired in 2012. Freeze holds a 34-18 (17-15 SEC) record at Ole Miss and finished second in the SEC West in 2015.
