Former Auburn running back Cameron Artis-Payne was arrested Sunday in North Carolina, according to WSOC-TV.
WSOC-TV, a Charlotte-based news channel, tweeted out the news with a photo of Artis-Payne.

Artis-Payne rushed for 183 yards and one touchdown in 2015 for the Carolina Panthers.
After rushing for 2,218 yards and 19 touchdowns in his two-year Tigers career, Artis-Payne was drafted in the fifth round by the Panthers in 2015. In 2014 alone, he rushed for 1,608 yards with 13 rushing touchdowns and was rewarded with first-team All-SEC honors.
Prior to Auburn, Artis-Payne attended Allan Hancock College in 2011 and 2012, where he rushed for 3,412 yards and 43 touchdowns.
A graduate of the University of Florida and founder of Saturday Down South, Kevin is a college football enthusiast.
