Alabama falls in Kirk Herbstreit’s updated top 4 after week 5

ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has a very familiar team at No. 1 this week: Ohio State.

The Buckeyes jumped Alabama in his updated top four teams after Week 5, as Ohio State destroyed Rutgers 58-0 Saturday. Although Herbstreit played at OSU, he stays rather neutral on his former team, and you can certainly make a very strong case the Buckeyes are the top team in the land.

With Ohio State at No. 1 and Alabama at No. 2, Herbstreit interestingly has Clemson at No. 3 and Louisville at No. 4. Obviously, the two hooked up Saturday night in Death Valley, and Herbstreit called the game. The Tigers won a thriller against the Cardinals.
