SEC fans like their statues.
As a guy who has visited all 14 stadiums, I can tell you that one of the coolest parts about spending time at each venue is finding the statues and monuments. Especially those that tell the story of the men behind the statues while also paying tribute to university history.
Each school has its unique brand of passion and reverence in this conference. It makes the SEC great.
When you break it down, these shrines typically fall into one of three categories: A former coach, a former player or a mascot.
With that in mind, let’s check out some of the league’s statues:
