Nine SEC teams highlight Athlon’s preseason Top 25

Sports Illustrated may not have been high on the SEC in its post-spring Top 25, but the folks over at Athlon Sports seem to respect the league’s perceived top-to-bottom strength in 2015.

A record-setting nine teams from the SEC are included in the poll, highlighted by Alabama, Auburn and Georgia inside the Top 10. Two-time defending Eastern Division champion Mizzou isn’t ranked, by all seven teams from the West have found a spot inside the Top 25.
