If you watched coverage of SEC Media Days, you noticed crowds of fans standing in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey hotel. That passion wasn’t matched at Pac-12 Media Days, which started today and looks a lot less crowded.

Aside from the fan turnout, it’s a questionable decision for the Pac-12 to schedule its Media Days during the final day of SEC Media Days, considering so many national writers are in Birmingham, as Chris Vannini of CoachingSearch.com points out.
