Ranking the best SEC players at each position group in BCS era

For the last week, Saturday Down South has ranked the top 10 SEC players at each position group. It was no easy task because the overwhelming amount of talent made it tough to narrow these lists down to just 10 players.
But we’ve made it and looking back at some of these lists, it’s incredible to see just how great the SEC has been during the BCS era. From Tim Tebow to AJ Green to Patrick Peterson and to David Pollack, SEC fans will never forget watching all the players on these lists suit it up in the SEC.
Now with the BCS era in the rearview mirror, let’s take one more look back at each position’s top players over the last 16 years.
