It’s not just the players that get upset when they make a mistake on the football field; referees are susceptible to the same frustrations as the men in pads.
Making the first penalty announcement of the game in the Texas A&M-Mississippi State game, referee Ken Williamson accidentally faced the wrong sideline when announcing the penalty. Realizing his mistake, Williamson went to turn around and switch off his microphone. Unfortunately, he wasn’t quick enough in flipping the mic off, and was caught letting an expletive slip.
This Texas A&M-Mississippi St referee is having a bad game. Faced the wrong way, almost ejected the wrong player, and his mic’s not working.
