Things just got worse for Ole Miss star defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche.

The Rebels’ junior has been charged with marijuana possession after falling from a wall outside a Buckhead hotel over the weekend, Atlanta police told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday.

Found in the hotel room at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta were “approximately 7 rolled marijuana cigarettes” tied to Nkemdiche, a police report said.

Authorities believe the 6-foot-4, 296-pound defensive tackle “climbed over a wall and fell approximately 15 feet” after breaking out the window of his hotel room and walking a short distance.

Atlanta police rushed to the Grand Hyatt Atlanta hotel on Peachtree Street around 11:20 p.m. on Saturday and found Nkemdiche “conscious and breathing” before taking him to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition, according to information first released on Sunday.

Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze released a statement on Sunday through a spokesman, saying he was “still learning about the matter, but obviously Robert’s well being is our greatest concern.”
