There is no video of ESPN’s live feed cutting out Saturday night just as LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva was about to announce Les Miles was staying in Baton Rouge. It’s too bad because it certainly would have made our list of some of the not-so-glamourous moments from the final week of the SEC’s regular season.
Alleva’s bungling of Miles’ future with the program has to be the worst of the week, but it’s a bit too complex a subject to delve into here. Instead, we’ll focus more on the week’s moments of unbridled anger, some non-players making us laugh, and a cup check.

Anyone who’s ever run in cleats on a slick surface can empathize with Chris Snead. The center judge for the Alabama-Auburn contest wiped out hard along the Bama sideline while throwing flag on the Tigers’ Johnathan Ford. Here’s hoping Snead is feeling better.
Gators still don’t have a point in #FSUvsUF. Maybe they can find some eligibility for Vic Norman of @GainesvillePD? https://t.co/TVkhTe8Hjd — ESPN (@espn) November 29, 2015
It’s never good when a police officer has more catches down toward the end zone than your team. Gainesville Police Officer Vic Norman now has one catch for 8 yards in his career after hauling in this pass from Florida State quarterback Sean Maguire. The Seminole signal-caller finished 14-for-28 for 160 yards — 15-for-28 if you count his connection with Norman. The Gators closed the 27-2 loss with 134 yards receiving on 19 catches from quarterback Treon Harris.
4. Muschamping at the Bit
Will Muschamp is an angry dude. We already knew that. The Auburn defensive coordinator put that vitriol on display once again, this week against Alabama…not once, but twice. This particular rants against the officials earned the former Florida head coach a 15-yard penalty.

Mark Richt can could be a calming presence on the Georgia sidelines, but he’s capable of getting angry when need be. That was evident after his coaching staff rushed the field during the Bulldogs’ Week 13 win over rival Georgia Tech. Watch as the since- deposed Bulldogs head coach tosses one of his assistants in a heated moment against the Yellow Jackets.
2. Pan-caked
Pretty sure this guy is actually a pancake now. #FSUvsUF https://t.co/7Fxlfabu0z

Mason Halter now knows what it’s like to be trucked by a locomotive. Florida State defensive end Derwin James introduced himself to the Florida right tackle with a brutal flattening during the Seminoles’ one-sided victory over the Gators. James finished with 9 tackles and half a sack. Halter now has a Vine that will last in infamy.
The Bulldogs weren’t the only ones Chad Kelly delivered a blow to tonight… pic.twitter.com/mEzR2CFiWG — Mike Uva (@Mike_Uva) November 29, 2015
Jordan Sims just got done protecting quarterback Chad Kelly against a Mississippi State defense looking to knock his head off. What was the right guard’s reward? A Kelly postgame cup-check. Sims’ face says it all: I can’t be mad at you, because you just led us to an Egg Bowl win. But, c’mon man.
