N.C. STATE DEBUTS ‘PACK IN BLACK’ ADIDAS THREADS IN RALEIGH: Complete with a gradient carbon fiber helmet, the Wolfpack donned a nifty all-black combination in Saturday’s win over Old Dominion.

The uniforms featured glossy red claw marks on shoulders and a white wordmark across the chest.
UAB LIGHTS UP MISSISSIPPI STATE IN WHITE, GREEN FOIL LIDS: Give the Blazers credit. UAB’s new two-toned helmet defined by an oversized Dragon graphic is the Conference USA’s best. Green foil gradient at the white helmet’s base is an interesting touch. UAB’s road uniforms, featuring dragon-skinned sleeves, would’ve popped with green numerals outlined in gold instead of the current look.
FLORIDA STATE GETTING A MAKEOVER: After an opening weekend apparel debacle against Oklahoma State, the top-ranked Seminoles will reportedly return to metallic gold helmets and true garnet jersey numbers according to ESPN Radio’s Jeff Cameron. There’s no timetable for the uniform fix, but gold lids should be available for the team’s showdown with Clemson on Sept. 20.
Florida State was stuck in its off-color Nike look for Saturday’s home opener against The Citadel.

It's a process but FSU will return the helmet color to traditional gold & are fixing the face mask issue. No more purple. New spear stays..

During the initial television broadcast against the Cowboys, Florida State’s ‘new garnet’ appeared purple and helmets were light gold. Light-numerals on white jerseys was not a good look.
