Michigan State returned a fumble for a touchdown on the final play of the game to defeat Michigan 27-23.
With 10 seconds left to play and the Wolverines leading 23-21, Michigan punter Blake O’Neill fumbled the punt snap. O’Neill couldn’t pick up the ball cleanly, and the ball bounced to Jalen Watts-Jackson, who raced 38 yards to score the game-winning touchdown for the Spartans.
