ESPN’s College GameDay is coming back to the SEC.

Chris, Lee, Herbie and Desmond will broadcast everyone’s favorite pre-game show from Columbia, S.C. next Saturday where South Carolina will battle defending Eastern Division champ Mizzou on Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gamecocks and Tigers are both licking their wounds a bit heading into next weekend’s pivotal SEC showdown after South Carolina (3-1, 2-1) survived Vanderbilt’s upset bid in Nashville and Mizzou (3-1) saw its unbeaten streak to start the season snapped at home by Indiana.

South Carolina’s the only team the Tigers haven’t beaten since joining the SEC in 2012.

It could be the first of a string of SEC-hosted GameDay sites with Alabama’s trip to Oxford looming on Oct. 4. followed by Auburn’s matchup at Mississippi State in Week 7.

The Gamecocks have posted big wins during GameDay’s last two trips to campus (Alabama, 2010; Georgia, 2012).
