South Carolina received some tremendous news on Thursday.
Four-star QB commit Brandon McIlwain, who is a two-sport star, has opted to enroll early at school rather than pursue an opportunity with the Major League Baseball draft.

McIlwain will play for both the Gamecocks football team, as well as its nationally regarded baseball team.
This is a circumstance where it really pays to have one of the top baseball programs in the country.
247Sports rates McIlwain as the 171th best player in the nation and the third-best dual-threat quarterback.
