Sports Illustrated’s Thayer Evans is reporting through a source that South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier is retiring.
It it not yet known if the Head Ball Coach will quit this week or at the end of the season.

Spurrier is expected to address the news at Tuesday’s weekly press conference.
The 70-year-old SEC legend has 228 career wins and won a national championship at Florida in 1996.
