Derek Mason shows off Vandy-themed jacket at SEC Media Days

Derek Mason knows how to get attention during SEC Media Days. The Vanderbilt coach entered the annual event wearing the team inspired jacket shown below:

Mason previewed the jacket on Twitter eight days ago, but debuted it during his entrance at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Winfrey on Monday, where he is scheduled to speak in the afternoon.

Mason enters his third season with the Commodores and has a 7-17 (2-14 SEC) overall record as a head coach. Despite two consecutive losing seasons, his Vanderbilt team showed progress in 2015 by improving its conference record by two games and ranking sixth among SEC teams in total defense.

Regardless, Mason should earn some attention during his Media Days session for his attire alone.
