With the 2016 edition of SEC Media Days just over a week away from beginning, Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason already has his clothes picked out and ready to go. But the third year Commodore coach doesn’t plan on wearing just any old outfit.

Mason shared some pics Sunday of the his sweet new personalized “Anchor Down” jacket ready for Hoover, Ala.:

Mason is scheduled to make his appearance at the SEC’s Media Day event on Monday, July 11.

After compiling a 7-17 overall record during his first two seasons in Nashville, Mason and the Commodores improved their SEC record by two games in 2015. If they can do so again in 2016, Vanderbilt stands a good chance of leapfrogging several fellow SEC East teams in the final standings.

While Mason has yet to reach his potential as a head coach in the SEC, one thing is certain, he is beginning to look the part.
