Alabama announces DB Tony Brown will change jersey numbers

Alabama DB Tony Brown’s suspension was lifted Monday, meaning the Crimson Tide’s secondary will get a big boost.
Upon his return, Brown will ditch his old No. 7 jersey for a new number:
Tony Brown will change from No. 7 to No. 2. Freshman CB will change from No. 2 to No. 8, per Alabama.

DB Jared Mayden is the player who previously wore No. 2.
