Alabama is just 1 of 2 programs to be named a finalist for Class of 2024 4-star wide receiver Aeryn Hampton, one of the top receivers in the cycle.
Hampton, who hails from Carthage, Texas, is also considering his home state school, Texas. Hampton was originally also tied to UTSA, but cut them out of consideration Wednesday after visiting the Roadrunners in early April.

The 5-10 receiver has official visits to both Austin and Tuscaloosa scheduled within the next 2 months, so it’s unlikely we will be receiving a commitment any time soon. Hampton, who is considered to be the No. 117 prospect in the nation and a top 25 player out of the Lone Star State, also attended Alabama’s junior day back in January.
Alabama currently holds 2 commitments from wide receivers in the Class of 2024 in 5-star Perry Thompson and 4-star Rico Scott.
