Bryce Young reveals he drove DoorDash orders during freshman season at Alabama

Bryce Young had to make his money somehow during his freshman season at Alabama in 2020.
Young wasn’t a national name across the country quite yet in 2020, sitting behind Mac Jones as he led the Crimson Tide to national title No. 18. Young’s time came eventually.
Well, you know the rest of the story. The sophomore Young won the Heisman in 2021, had a strong season in 2022 and is now officially QB1 heading into the 2023 NFL season with the Carolina Panthers.
Young spoke to Panthers reporters Tuesday and revealed that he drove DoorDash orders during that 2020 campaign. This was, of course, prior to NIL when players couldn’t profit off their name, image and likeness from their time gridiron.
And even though Young was not a national name quite yet, he was still very recognizable around campus in Tuscaloosa. He revealed Tuesday that he wore his mask and a hoodie while also only accepting “drop it at my door” orders so he wouldn’t get recognized.
Check out his full story on his DoorDashing days below:
