Cam Robinson missed nearly all of the 2018 season with a torn ACL in his left knee. Now, the former Alabama offensive tackle has more injury concerns, this time with his right knee, entering this year.

Robinson is listed as doubtful for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and Jags head coach Doug Marrone said Robinson underwent an MRI on his right knee. Marrone didn’t have the results when meeting with the media, but it appears Robinson could miss some time.

According to Marrone, Robinson injured his knee while setting up in pass protection.

“He wasn’t engaged [with a rusher] and the right knee just gave out,” Marrone said, according to ESPN.com’s Michael DiRocco.

It’s an unfortunate situation for Robinson, who played only two games last season and tore his left ACL in Week 2. That came after Robinson was the Jaguars’ starting left tackle as a rookie in 2017, playing in 15 games.

Robinson was selected by Jacksonville in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft.

With Robinson likely out Sunday, the Jaguars will have to play right guard Will Richardson at left tackle. So Jacksonville is probably hoping that Robinson’s injury isn’t too serious and that the former Crimson Tide standout will be back on the field soon.
