Former Alabama WR Jameson Williams snagged his first NFL touchdown this past Sunday. Williams, who had a long road to recovery to get back on the field, is being very protective of the ball he caught for his first professional score.

During a recent media opportunity, Williams revealed the ball is currently in his bed.

“I ain’t gonna lie. The ball, it’s at my house right now. It’s in my bed,” Williams said, per Brad Galli of WXYZ ABC 7 Detroit.

After tearing his ACL in January’s College Football Playoff National Championship, Williams had his NFL debut delayed until Dec. 4. Williams’ Detroit Lions defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-14 in that game, but Williams’ lone target did not result in a reception.

So far, Williams has the 1 catch for 41 yards. It’s certain to be the first of many NFL TDs for Williams.

Williams will look to add to his rookie season stats on Sunday against the New York Jets (1 p.m. ET, FOX).
