Stock rising? Jalen Hurts registers fastest 40-yard dash among all QBs at 2020 NFL Combine
We all knew Jalen Hurts was explosive but when put to the test against the other elite performers in Indianapolis on Thursday, the former Alabama quarterback proved just how high he belongs on the list of the most explosive signal-callers in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Thursday was the physical testing portion of the 2020 NFL Combine for the quarterbacks attending the event and that means Hurts got to show off his speed going up against the likes of former Oregon QB Justin Herbert (4.69), former Georgia QBs Jake Fromm (5.01) and Jacob Eason (4.9).
Hurts beat them all with a 4.59 40-yard dash time. In fact, Hurts’ time was so impressive, the only tight end at the 2020 NFL Combine that managed to run a faster 40 than the former Alabama quarterback was former Missouri tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. Albert O ran a 4.49 40-yard dash.
Check out Hurts’ blistering run below, courtesy of PFF Draft.
