As the Alabama Crimson Tide prepare for the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma on Saturday, many are still wondering about backup QB Jalen Hurts’ future with the program.
There was speculation he’d transfer this year after taking a redshirt, but Hurts opted not to redshirt and ended up having a magical moment in a comeback win over Georgia in the SEC title game.
Now, it appears he may not even be leaving this offseason, as he revealed on Friday that he had applied for grad school at Alabama, too:

Of course, it’s possible that he’s applied in other places for grad school, too, but for now, this is what we know.
Will he stay for another year with the Tide? Only time will tell, but first, he’d like to win another title this year.
