Jameson Williams, former Alabama star, scores TD on first NFL catch for Detroit Lions
Jameson Williams is back.
The former Alabama star wide receiver is making his NFL debut today after recovering from a knee injury he sustained against Georgia in the national championship game back in January.
And it hasn’t taken long for Williams to make an impact for Detroit.
In the 1st quarter of the Lions game with Minnesota on Sunday, Williams made his 1st career catch and it went for a 41-yard touchdown to give his team a 7-0 lead.

Despite the injury, Detroit selected Williams in the 1st round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 12th overall pick.
In his lone season with the Crimson Tide after transferring from Ohio State, Williams caught 79 passes for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns.
