Jameson Williams sat on the sideline in January with his teammates from Ohio State and watched Alabama destroy his Buckeyes, 52-24 to win the national championship. Sometime during that game, Williams must have liked what he saw from the Tide because a few months later, he decided to transfer to Tuscaloosa.

According to Williams, coming to Tuscaloosa was the best decision he has ever made in his life. In Tuscaloosa, Williams found a home.

“I was real comfortable coming to Alabama,” he said according to On3 Sports. “It’s a great environment, I loved the environment, everything — I feel like I fit in well. With my mindset and the mindset of the guys I play with, my brothers. So I felt real comfortable.”

In Williams’s first game with the Tide, he had 4 receptions for 126 including an impressive 94-yard touchdown.

It also didn’t hurt that Alabama has produced great wide receivers like Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, and Heisman winner DeVonta Smith.

“I feel like I’m a part of those guys when I committed to Alabama out of the transfer portal,” he said. “Once you’re Bama family, you’re family.”
