Alabama fans love singing the song “Dixieland Delight” by a band named, well… Alabama. However, the Bama fans change the lyrics a bit to call out some of their biggest rivals.

The song actually mentions Tennessee, though. A scan of the lyrics shows that the word “Tennessee” is mentioned 4 times.

Thus, Knoxville reporter Caleb Noe walked the streets of Tuscaloosa with a mission — find out why Alabama fans love to sing a song about Tennessee. The results, which you can see in the segment below, are great:

“Your greatest tradition is singing about Tennessee. That’s all I have to say,” one woman interviewed said.

Will we hear the song on Saturday night when the Vols and Crimson Tide play? The game kicks off at 9 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
