The Miami Marlins postponed several games this season after an outbreak of COVID-19 within the locker room, but that hasn’t slowed down the team’s hot start.

The Marlins are currently leading the National League East Division with a 5-1 overall record. It’s important to note, however, that the team has only played 6 games compared to other teams in its division.

Miami defeated the Baltimore Orioles 2-1 and 1-0 in a double header Wednesday, and following the 2-0 day, Miami tweeted out a “We Want Bama” poster that’s been so prevalent in college football.

Just like Alabama’s has in recent history, Miami’s defense excelled. In 2 games, Marlins’ pitching gave up just 7 hits and the team committed no errors. If Nick Saban coached baseball, pitching and defense would certainly be a part of the “process” of winning.
