NFL releases top 10 of NFL 100 players of 2021, selects 1 former SEC player

The NFL has staggered its release of this year’s top 100 players, and it has now come out with its top 10 players due to be ranked in the coming days.
The season finale will be announced in a show on the NFL Network on on Saturday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m. ET.
While the list right now is out alphabetically, Alabama’s Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans is among the group, which also includes Davante Adams, Josh Allen, Tom Brady, Aaron Donald, Derrick Henry, DeAndre Hopkins, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers and T.J. Watt.
Henry’s career saw an ascent in 2019 when he was the NFL’s leading rusher with a career-best 1,540 rushing yards on a career-high 303 carries for a career-high 16 rushing touchdowns. Then in 2020, Henry rushed for 2,047 yards and 17 touchdowns.
The Yulee, Florida native was selected by the Titans in the second round (45th overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft.
