Nick Saban has a road test this weekend against Kentucky.
Alabama is coming off a huge win over LSU, but now the Tide has to flip the script to take on a very different team. Ahead of the game, Saban offered his initial scouting report on the Wildcats.
“Kentucky is a completely different type of team than what we played against a week ago and what we did last week is not gonna have any impact on what we do this week,” Saban said during his press conference Monday. “They’re tough, they’re physical, they’re well-coached. Coach Stoops does a really really good job with his team in terms of the competitive character that they play with and the intangibles that they have.”
Kentucky has found some success on offense through electric players like Ray Davis and quarterback Devin Leary. Saban knows that the game won’t be easy.
“They’re 6-3 and they’ve got some really explosive players on offense,” Saban said. “The quarterback has played really well for them. They’ve got great balance on offense, their defense is tough and physical.”
Kentucky bounced back from a losing skid with a dominant win over Mississippi State on Saturday. Now the Wildcats are looking for an upset over Alabama.
