Nick Saban has several good memories going against Auburn as the head coach of the best team in the state of Alabama. But facing the Tigers in Jordan-Hare is a bit of experience in a hostile and competitive home environment.

There’s something haunted about it in the eyes of Saban. He is not the first person to say that about the venue of the stadium that belongs to what used to be his arch rival. Texas A&M will be the next team up on the schedule to experience that this season.

“Well, I would be alerting Texas A&M because in my opinion and in 17 years of going to Auburn and playing in Jordan-Hare, that place is haunted. I guarantee,” Saban said on College Gameday in his most recent appearance with the ESPN crew.

The occurrences and how interesting the way in which Alabama ended up in the win column — or the loss column for that matter — defied the norms.

“The way we lost games and the way we won games there, it’s unbelievable. (There was) the kick six, and then the grave digger last year,” Saban said. “I mean, I’m telling you, that place is haunted.”

Texas A&M and Auburn are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Jordan-Hare.
