Oddsmaker sets hypothetical Alabama-Ohio State line on neutral field

As possibilities of the four playoff teams begin to crystalize the second half of the season, the hypothetical betting lines are also coming into focus.
Professional handicapper Danny Sheridan has listed Alabama as a touchdown favorite over Ohio State at a neutral site.
As the undefeated Crimson Tide continue to steamroll opponents, questions have come up about which opponent would pose the biggest threat to Alabama. Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State appear to have the best chance, though each team has plenty of potential pitfall games ahead of any Alabama matchup.
Interestingly enough, Ohio State is not generally listed as the No. 2 team in the country. For much of the season, it’s been Georgia and Clemson, and as Notre Dame continues to remain undefeated, the Fighting Irish will receive more attention.
Ohio State is ranked No. 3 in both the Associated Press and coaches poll this week, and is fourth in Bill Connelly’s S&P+ rankings.
