The question on everyone’s mind in Tuscaloosa involves Alabama’s starting quarterback for the 2018 season and whether it will be Jalen Hurts or Tua Tagovailoa.

However, a decision is unlikely to be made this spring, meaning we’ll have to wait until at least this summer to find out who coach Nick Saban thinks gives his team a better chance to win.

On Friday, former Alabama star LB Rashaan Evans joined “3 Man Front” on WJOX and discussed the pros of having both players under center:

“That’s a hard question,” he said. “If you think about it, Jalen has probably been one of the winningest quarterbacks that we can probably think of to this day. I know if we have Jalen at quarterback, I know we’re going to win. Then, you’ve got Tua, who is a talented guy. You can just tell he has an NFL arm. To be honest, I don’t really know. I can’t give you an answer.”

Though Evans wasn’t able to pick between his two former teammates, Saban eventually will. The decision will likely shape the course of Alabama’s entire 2018 season.
